A visit to campus is the first step in determining if Bridgewater is the right fit for you. That’s when you’ll see what life at BC is really like.

Open House

Open Houses are designed for high school and transfer students to gain insight into what it is like to be a BC student. These are day-long events with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and lunch concluding around 1:30 p.m. The schedule includes informational sessions for both prospective students and families.

Open House Information Sessions:

  • Academic Overview
    The session highlights distinctive features within our four academic divisions and the Center for Engaged Learning.
  • Student panel
    Ask questions to a panel of current students regarding academics, student life, meals, sports and other questions regarding campus life.
  • Admissions and Financial Aid
    The session reviews criteria, dates and deadlines for the enrollment process.
  • Meeting with faculty, staff and coaches
    Visit with faculty from the four academic divisions, learn about additional student services, have your questions answered about admissions and financial aid, and meet athletic coaches.
  • Campus Tour and Lunch
    Tour campus with a Student Ambassador and be our guest for lunch. A tour of the equestrian center is available following lunch.

Prospective Eagle Day

The Prospective Eagle day schedule begins with an information session led by the director of admissions, a student panel followed by a student-led campus tour and the opportunity to be our guest for dinner.  Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m. and the campus tour will end around 4:30 p.m.

Each Prospective Eagle Day Will Include:

  • Information Session
    Includes information about academic affairs, admissions, student life, financial aid and information technology.
  • Student panel for prospective students
    Ask a panel of current students’ questions regarding academics, student life, meals, sports and other questions they may have regarding campus life.
  • Dinner and Campus Tour

Family and Consumer Sciences Visitation Day

Interested in child development, family life education or gerontology? On Friday, November 16, 2018, join us for a visit in the Bridgewater College Family and Consumer Sciences Department to explore these programs.

This is a great opportunity to hear from department faculty and students about what it means to be a family and consumer sciences student at Bridgewater College. Attend classes and experience the Bridgewater College learning process firsthand.

Lunch will be provided.

9-9:50 a.m. Foundations of Nutrition or Child Development class
10-10:50 a.m. Campus/department tour with students

MSAT Open House

Are you a current college undergraduate student or college graduate interested in pursuing a career in the athletic training field? Then take your academic experience to the next level with Bridgewater College and join us for our Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) Program Open House. Our faculty, staff, and students invite you to discover firsthand how we are preparing the athletic trainer of the future.

Date and Time: Saturday, November 17, 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

MSAT Open House Will Include:

  • MSAT Program Presentation
    Includes information about the academic curriculum, admissions process, financial aid, and off-campus life.
  • Campus Tour
    Student-guided tour of the on-campus academic buildings, clinical settings, and student-life facilities.
  • Q&A with MSAT Students
    Prospective students will have an opportunity to ask a panel of current athletic training students questions regarding academics, clinical experiences, off-campus housing, and others they may have about being a graduate student.
  • Complimentary Lunch
    Be our guest for lunch in the College’s KCC Dining Hall with MSAT faculty and athletic training students.
  • Q&A with MSAT Faculty
    Prospective students will have an opportunity to ask MSAT faculty any remaining questions prior to departing for the day.

Personalized Visit

Monday - Friday Visits:

Our admissions counselors are traveling to college fairs and visiting high schools in September, October and November. During these months, you can sign up for group information sessions followed by a campus tour led by a Student Ambassador. Students can also request the opportunity to attend a class, talk with a professor or athletic coach, tour our equestrian center and be our guest for a meal in the dining hall. If you would like to personalize your visit to campus, please give us notice at least one week ahead of time to make these arrangements.

Appointment Times: 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m.

  • October 8 – Columbus Day group sessions at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., followed by a campus tour led by a Student Ambassador – register here

Saturday Visits:

A Saturday visit includes a one-on-one information session with an Admissions Counselor and a campus tour led by a Student Ambassador. Our Saturday appointments often fill quickly, so call us as early as possible to get your first choice.

Appointment Times: 8:15 a.m., 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Summer Visit: May - August

Summer is a great time to get a “first glimpse” of Bridgewater College.  Schedule a visit to meet with an admissions counselor where you will gain insight into the admissions process, academics, financial aid and student life. Bring your questions and we will have answers for you.  A tour of campus is included and the entire visit takes about 90 minutes.

We encourage summer guests to come back for a second visit when school is in session to experience Bridgewater when it’s in full swing.

  • Monday - Thursday: 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Friday: 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. (The admissions office will close at noon on Fridays)
